It is important for a photographic investigator to be present in the now -as much as she can, anyway… Otherwise the external circumstances could lead her to believe that she found herself in another planet, another dimension even. And I had enough of that. The code name for this photographic investigation was “Arakis” -known to most people as Dune- and that was supposed to help me figure out when I should do it. It was the day when the sky of Athens was painted in the colours of the desert planet Arakis, although my subject was an earth woman.
